DEVCON

The DEVCON demonstrator was a proof of concept showing what a constellation of ADS-B satellites could do for tracking planes in real time around the world.

One of the requirements was an alert if a plane didn't check in, this was in response to the then recent events regarding Malaysian Airlines flight 370’s disappearance.
